Welcome to Lido Key, located between Longboat Key and Siesta Key.  Lido Key is well known for its golden beaches and St. Armands Circle   of fine dining and shopping for global visitors alike.  The Circle boasts  an excess of 150 shops, restaurants and boutiques, with such names as Tommy Bahama and Hemingways.  You will notice the international influence by the Italian statues and colorful courtyards that line the streets and sidewalks.  You can dine at a quaint outdoor cafe on the Circle or choose from one of many other fine restaurants.

Shopping in St. Armands Circle

The Key was first owned by Charles St. Armand and then sold in the early 1920's to the famous circus owner, John Ringling.  Ringling's  circus elephants brought the timber to build the bridge and causeway that connects Lido Key to the Sarasota mainland.
